Many days I wonder why it seems as though many people just do not find it in their heart to put forth honest effort. Is this a new phenomenon, I think not, rather is a product of our fast-food society. We have created the perception that we must accomplish more in less time in order to have more time, however, seem to have lost the reason for why we need more time because we just fill that with other work. I digress…
May I vent to you for a brief moment….
If you decide not to do your job on Tuesday, do not call me on the next Saturday, ask me for help AND expect me to be sympathetic. Do not call and tell me it is an emergency after not inviting me to the planning calls for the previous two weeks. And whatever you do, DO NOT call me on the phone and ask me to review something you have done if you have not sent it to me yet… Come on, really?
I understand you think this is an emergency but it is not. It will be waiting for us all on Monday. I will assist with everything I have on Monday if I still am employed
